Overview
Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) lets international guests pay their bill in their home currency. With Oracle OPERA v5 connected to Juno through the Oracle Payment Interface (OPI), the DCC offer appears on the payment device during the card payment, and the result is updated back to OPERA. No extra steps are needed in OPERA.

What you'll achieve
You'll understand how DCC appears during a card payment and what is recorded in OPERA.
Before you start
- DCC must be enabled for your property.
How DCC works at the payment device
- Process the card payment in OPERA as usual (for example, at check-out or for an in-house payment).
- When the guest's card is eligible, the DCC offer is shown on the payment device. The guest chooses whether to pay in their home currency.
- Once the payment is approved, the payment details are updated in OPERA.
Expected result
Once approved, the payment details are updated in OPERA.
