Overview
When Oracle OPERA v5 is connected to Juno through the Oracle Payment Interface (OPI), every card on a reservation is stored as a token rather than a card number. You can view the token ID for a reservation's card from the payment type field — for example, to confirm that a card has been tokenised or when 934 Support asks for it.
Applies to
| Product | Juno Hospitality Suite |
| Integration | Oracle OPERA v5 (on-premise) via Oracle Payment Interface (OPI) |
| Version | OPERA v5 |
| Audience | Front office and reservations |
What you'll achieve
After completing these steps, the token ID for the card on the reservation is displayed.
Before you start
- A card must already be saved on the reservation.
View the token ID
- From the OPERA menu, select Reservations > Update Reservation.
- Search for and open the reservation.
- Select the horizontal ellipsis (…) next to the Payment type field.
- Right-click the Payment Type field.
- Select Vault Token ID.
Expected result
The token ID is displayed. OPERA doesn't store or show the full card number.
Troubleshooting
The Vault Token ID option doesn't show a token
Check that a card is saved on the reservation. Tokens belong to a single reservation: a token can't be copied from another reservation or from the guest profile.
