Overview
Opening a transaction in the Juno Portal shows its full Transaction Timeline — every step the payment went through, its current status, and the underlying payment and terminal details — all on one screen. Use this whenever you need to confirm exactly what happened to a specific payment, for example to answer a guest's question about a charge.

What you'll achieve
You'll be able to see a payment's full status history and confirm its amount, card, terminal and timing from a single screen, without needing to ask anyone else.
Before you start
- You need to have already found the transaction you want to look at.
- Card numbers are always shown masked to the last four digits — the Portal doesn't display full card numbers, for security.
Operational steps
- From the Transactions list, open the transaction you want to review (via the eye icon in Actions).
- The Transaction Timeline panel opens, showing the Group ID and an overall status summary (for example "Success → Success").
Read a step's detail
Each step in the timeline (for example Authorization, then Sales Completion) is shown as its own card with a status pill, the step number (for example "Step 2 of 2"), the amount, card brand, and timestamp. Expand a step to see:
- Payment Information — Amount, Card Brand, and the masked Card Number.
- System Information — the Terminal ID (TID).
- Location & Organization — Country, Terminal, Tenant, and Department.
- Timestamps — when the event was recorded by the system, and the guest interaction time.
Expected result
You can confirm the payment's amount, card, terminal, timing and current status without needing to check anywhere else.
